A Gift for Christmas

Emma Brown, a concert pianist, has always loved the fall, the feel of it, the anticipation of it, and most of all, the music! Every year she would settle into the upcoming holidays and watch as the world waited to explode into Christmas in that breathless week before Thanksgiving. Then, in a life-shattering moment, her world was turned on its side. Emma is in an accident that leaves her deaf and thrown into a world that she never knew. A world without sound. As Emma enters into the Deaf Community, she finds she might be able to adapt to a different life-style, a different group of friends, but she knows that the holiday season, without the music, will never again be the same. Then she meets David Hart at a Deaf culture activity. He begins to show her the world of the deaf in a way she never imagined and maybe...just maybe she will find her way back to the life she thought she lost forever.
