College Is Simple

How are you supposed to know what college is like? It's commonly accepted that your best plan is to graduate high school and then move your entire life to a place of higher education. However, that seems to be where the advice stops. Would you prefer to have a grasp on what your life will be like in college before you pack up and leave everything you've known behind? A fair request, if you ask me. Every high school graduate has a unique perspective on going to college. Many of these perspectives include a significant scared, nervous, or anxious element, and rightfully so. What if your roommate snores? What if no one you meet in the first couple weeks understands your Saved by the Bell references? What if you feel like you don't belong in the sea of muscles and athleticism in the gym? And dare I say, what if you don't find your future spouse during your first week or month or even year on campus? I recently went through all of these struggles and experiences, and I'm here to help, because I wish someone had written this book and given it to me as a graduation gift instead of that $20 Wal-Mart gift card (even though I did do some damage at the $5 movie bin). College Is Simple will take you through several stereotypical elements of a college experience, and how they may or may not have looked in my life. This will help you learn what to expect from every aspect of college life even beyond your freshman year.
